| General: The BM Automatic Loading System for C.O.S. Machines is modular designed and therefore usable for most of the Cast-on-Strap machines in the market. The standard loading system has 6 or 12 grippers and can therefore load either one or two starter batteries or a half or a complete truck battery in one cycle. Depending on the design of the mould, BM can offer two basic models. If the positive and negative poles are in one row in the mould, we offer the standard gripper design. If the mould is designed like a battery looks like, we offer rotateable grippers. Normally all six or twelve grippers would be rotateable. This allows turning either the groups 1,3,5,... or the groups 2,4,6,...to change the polarity just via the control panel. BM can offer a wide range of vertical group conveyors to match the customer's requirement. Six, seven, eight and ten inch pitch between the groups is standard and covers the full starter and truck battery range.
