On the picture underneath a complete working station as preparation for despatch is shown. There are two infeed lines, one for stacks of empty dollies and the other one for stacks of lids.
After the dollies are de-stacked, single dollies are conveyed to the crate manipulator. At the starting position of the create manipulator, the lift is in the lower position and will be loaded with the dolly. The lift raises the dolly from the conveyor and moves it to the stacking position. The patented disc wheel brings now pairs of totes to the lift and stacks it on the dolly. Fingers grip the totes without pressure and move the totes onto the dolly. At each pair of totes the lift moves one tote height down. After finishing the stack, the disc wheel stops and the lift moves the transport unit back onto the conveyor. The conveyor will bring now the finished stack out of this station to the lidding station, where the complete stacks will be covered with on lid. By strapping the whole dolly, everything is prepared safely for despatch.
