PROCESS DESCRIPTION

Single order totes are supplied via conveyor technique on a height of 3,500mm to the Crate-Manipulator. After the first tote reaches the take off position the disc wheel starts stacking. Spring loaded fingers, mounted on handling units, grip the totes and manipulate it onto a circular-movement to the stacking position. A platform mounted on a vertical lift picks up the totes until the stack is completed. The disc wheel stops and the finished stacks are lifted down onto an out-feed conveyor on a height of 400mm. Upon the stack left the machine, the lift moves back to the starting position and the disc wheel continuous stacking.
